Quest Search and Selection is hiring a Senior Category Manager – Gaming and Devices to lead supplier engagement and deliver premium products to customers. Role and Responsibilities of this Category Manager Gaming and Devices role:
- Lead purchasing and category sales for Computers, Gaming, Mobiles, Tablets, Audio, Headsets, VR, and related tech.
- Drive commercial growth by partnering with high-calibre brands and suppliers.
- Analyse performance data to identify sourcing gaps and improve supplier and category performance.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to maintain availability and prevent shortages.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, pricing frameworks, and promotional plans.
- Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships while onboarding new partners.
- Build consumer-focused category assortments that align with usage trends and demand.
- Collaborate with global supply chain teams to ensure alignment and timely support.
- Use sales and procurement insights to spot trends, streamline operations, and increase gross profit.
Ideal Profile for this Category Manager Gaming and Devices role:
- 5-8+ years of proven experience in Category Management and Buying, ideally with exposure to Trade Marketing.
- Strong background in purchasing consumer electronics such as laptops, audio, headphone, computers, phones, accessories, gaming, and VR.
- Deep understanding of customer behaviour, market dynamics, and experience working with top-tier brands, suppliers, and distributors.
- A well-connected supplier network within the Consumer Electronics and Appliances sector.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and solve problems methodically.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Collaborative, result-focused, and eager to make a strategic impact within a fast-growing business.
