We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who is passionate about mobile technology and has experience in outbound prospecting and evangelizing SaaS solutions. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting high-level conversations with key decision-makers, and laying the foundation for a strong relationship with our prospective and existing clients.

  • Drive top-of-funnel lead generation for AEs by executing an outbound prospecting plan and creating strategic target account lists within a defined territory.
  • Qualify and nurture inbound leads to create a pipeline of opportunities for the sales team.
  • Update and manage sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM. Leverage CRM tools to prospect in specific territories and sectors, and work closely with the team for a seamless transition of qualified leads.
  • Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts, conduct high-level conversations to understand their needs/pain points, and explain Tenjin’s value proposition.
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure and existing tech.
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.
  • Consistently achieve monthly/quarterly quota of qualified opportunities.

  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • 2 or 3+ years of sales or related marketing/business experience in ad tech or mar tech industry
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in tech sales
  • Strong technical aptitude and a desire to work in mobile, emerging technologies, and startups.
  • Willingness to learn and improve yourself

  • Proven hunter spirit
  • Location: APAC region (Shanghai, as preferred)

  • A track record of over-achieving against defined metrics (top 10-20%).
  • The ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
  • An understanding and can apply effective business development strategies and techniques.
  • Passion for building new businesses and willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
