We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Customer Success Manager to join our team, working remotely from Houston, with occasional visits to a central hub for collaborative meetings. You will work collaboratively with the sales team and wider business to drive client success, retention, and growth for a designated portfolio of clients that includes leading hedge funds, retailers, oil majors, refiners, vessel owners, and trading companies.


  • Drive the customer success outcomes of product adoption, customer satisfaction and overall account health scores.
  • Manage the full customer success lifecycle, including onboarding, support, adoption, advocacy, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to define and improve the customer lifecycle process.
  • Identify and collaborate with the sales team on cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the business and product team that helps define our product roadmap.
  • Manage the customer success platforms to a high standard.
  • Assist in driving a company-wide culture of customer success.


  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a customer success manager or similar role.
  • Possess a natural energy that drives you to deeply connect with your client base, identifying risks and growth opportunities, and working closely with the sales team to manage these.
  • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • An understanding of our client base and the challenges they face.
  • A passion and drive for revenue and account growth.
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
  • A demonstrable desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Enthusiastic, curious, creative, inquisitive, and resilient mindset.

Desirable Skills

  • Combined background of post-sale and sales experience.
  • Oil or commodities trading knowledge or experience.
